The 25yr Aluminum Oxide Pre-Finish is the premium finish in the flooring market today. What do I need to know about my finish? This finish can only be applied in the mill. This finish, which is is a UV baked-on. It is 2.4 mils in thickness and once baked on is comparable to walking on stone. It is dent and scratch resistant and will not fade. Finish is the most important part of your flooring. Make the right choice and go for Pre-finished.

The Janka Hardness Table is the manner in which all flooring is measured. How hard is my floor? How long will it last? The Janka hardness test measures the force required to embed a .444 inch steel ball to half its diameter in wood. This is one of the best measures of the ability of a wood species to withstand denting and wear. It is also a good indicator of how hard a species is to saw or nail. |
